The Hawk Soars in Mizuho’s Skies ~Plastic Expert Reincarnated as a Noble’s Daughter so Japan Will Become a Nation Founded on Chemistry~

Synopsis:

Meiji 34 (1901), Youko, the youngest daughter of Takatsukasa—one of the five regent houses, was only four years old when she invented a method to synthesize white thread from chemicals. This thread was known as “Nylon 66”, a substance that should have been discovered in America. This isn’t surprising considering Takatsukasa Youko was a macromolecular chemist that lived in the Reiwa era, more than 120 years in the future, and kept her memories as she reincarnated as a girl.
This is an era where the world macromolecule does not exist and a story of her hard struggle to change Japan’s history.

  1. Hello. I am the author of this novel.
Thank you for your introducing my work.
It is regretful, but I must point out that there’s a huge issue with your translation for my novel.
The first and second episodes had been completely revised on September 25, 2021 but your translations (which is currently published) were based on the outdated ones.
Please update the texts for Chapter 1 and 2 according to the latest version as soon as possible.
I’d advise you to check the original texts for updates before publishing them in the future.
    Thank you.

    1. Thank you for your comment. I translated the inital chapters a while back, so I was not aware you updated your novel. I will post the new revised version in a few days. Sorry for your the trouble and thank you for pointing this out. If you have any issues, problems, or would like for me to stop the translations, please feel free to contact me at flowingcloudd@gmail.com or via Discord: flowingcloud#8888

P.S. I assumed you can read English from your comment, but feel free to contact me via English or Japanese.

          1. Thank you for updating the translation.
I see you took a lot of effort for annotations.
You are doing a good job.

    2. Hallo author can I ask something? In chapter 4 you mentioned full power charge after effect artillery done and fire artillery again in second line to make opponent confused, this strategy is already done by french and german in ww1 and it proved with hill of corpse in no man land, but in final climax in war allies use tank to breakthroug the trench line, but why our mc is not mentioning it to her father? Before the war start it best to reaserch all technology for it first.

        1. The article is very similar to what was written in the chapter, but infiltration tactic outlined is the WWI version. It is not a silver bullet. It is better than no plan at all, but as Yukkisama stated, the body count was still atrocious and it didn’t really achieve stunning result. Or else the German and French wouldn’t be stuck in the trenches for so long.

This “breakthrough” and “exploitation” tactic will not really come into its own until WWII, when there are tanks, aircraft, and more accurate artillery to really bring the firepower onto a point.

So, I hope that this won’t become the revolutionary tactic that will easily win them the war. In the end, Japanese in 1900 only have infantry, MG, and artillery.
