“Daisy, come along as well! Let’s try negotiating with them one more time tomorrow!”
I decided to go together with Father to the royal castle tomorrow.

Since I was still five years old, I wore a girlish one-piece dress instead of a formal dress.
I wore a light blue dress to match my aquamarine eyes.
Kate dressed me, braided the sides of my hair, and braided my hair all the way, and added a hairpin to keep the braid together.
Then, perhaps it might have been a bit discourteous for me, but I put on a leather pouch to hold the potion sample.

“There we go, you’re all cute now!”

I looked in my full-length mirror and double-checked myself. If I must say so myself, I look all cute no.
…Let’s do our best again!

When we arrived at the royal castle, I got off the carriage together with Father.
Father took me by the hand and I followed him in silence.
Then, we stopped in front of a door of a certain room.

The guards at the front of the room opened the door for us. Inside the room, there were already several people sitting on chairs.

“Henry, who’s that kid?” a person with a handlebar mustache asked Father doubtfully.

“Yes, Military Affairs Minister. This child is my second daughter Daisy, the potion producer. I thought it would be easier to explain if I brought the person herself, thus I brought her,” Father answered, then the adults got noisy.

“Miss, how old are you?” one of the males in the room asked me.

“Daisy von Preslaria, five-years-old.”

I lightly pinched my skirt and performed a female greeting—a curtsy.

“Contrary to her appearances, she’s got herself together. I wish my children could learn from her. Ahh, it would be rude to not return your greeting. My name is Oscar von Woyrsch. I have been appointed as the Commander of the Knight Order.”

The man who had asked me was amazed, introduced himself in a hurry, then exchanged glances with the Military Affairs Minister. The two men nodded.

“Both of you, sit down,” the Military Affairs Minister demanded, then Father and I sat down on our chairs side-by-side.

“May I speak, sir?” I looked straight at the Military Affairs Minister, who was probably the highest position in this room and directly asked for permission.

“Ohh, she really has got herself together. Do not mind us and speak your mind.”

I nodded and placed a vial of potion, high potion, and mana potion I kept in my pouch on the table.

“I heard from Father the other day that the Knight Order wanted potions of good quality. I don’t know if I can meet your request, but today, I brought a potion and a high potion. Just like the mana potions, the performance of these potions are 1.5 times the normal recovery amount.”

““Oh…”” the Military Affairs Minister and Commander of the Knight order exclaimed with a mixture of surprise and delight.

“May I have this appraised, Miss Daisy?” the Military Affairs Minister asked me, and I nodded in agreement.

“Heinrich, check these three vials.”

“Yes.”

A young man, still full of youth, named Heinrich bowed. Most likely, he also possesses Appraisal.
At that moment, when Heinrich was checking the three vials that have been placed on the table one-by-one.

A person suddenly came in.

“““Your Majesty!”””

Everyone in the room left their seat. I looked around my surroundings and imitated their actions and stood up.

The King is the only person in this kingdom who is called “Your Majesty”.
His Majesty the King was a young man with beautiful quirky short blond hair and emerald eyes, who looked to not even be in his thirties yet.

“Ahh, you can all sit down. I heard you were talking about the delivery of those goods, you see. I got curious and came. I’ll be attending with you all… By the way, guessing from this lineup, are you the producer?”

“Yes. I am the second daughter of Henry von Preslaria, Daisy. It is an honor to meet your honor.”

Once again, I perform a lady’s bow.

“You’ve really got yourself together, haven’t you? Even though the prince, who’s the same age as you, is running away from his tutor all the time.”

His Majesty smiled and nodded in satisfaction, then sat down. I followed suit and sat down.

“So, how far has the conversation progressed?” His Majesty asked the Military Affairs Minister.

“Yes, we are in the process of evaluating the potion that Miss Daisy provided as a sample,” the Military Affairs Minister replied while bowing his head to His Majesty.

“So, what are the results?”

“Yes. I have just finished appraising them, I have confirmed that the potion, high potion, and mana potion are all high-quality potions and the recovery amount is 1.5 times better than normal ones.”

When Heinrich replied, people in the room exclaimed voices of astonishment, “““That’s fantastic!”””

“I believe that the Mage Troop wants to purchase these for use when they deem it dangerous during monster subjugations, correct?”

When the Military Affairs Minister—who I assumed to be his superior—asked Father, he nodded and responded, “Yes.”

“And the Knight Commander said that if that was the case, they would like to purchase high-quality potions and high potions themselves.”
“Yes,”’ replied the Knight Commander.

“Miss Daisy, is it possible to have these goods delivered on a regular basis?” His Majesty asked.

“Yes, all the medicinal herbs that are used as ingredients are grown by me in my fields. Therefore, I will not run out of ingredients. I can ensure a stable supply of goods.”

“Oh-ho, from your fields. Is that why they’re of such high-quality?”

“Yes, good ingredients make good medicine,” I answered His Majesty’s question, then he nodded in satisfaction.

“Treasurer-dono, I will approve of the purchase of her potions. Put together the details later. Ahh, that’s right, make sure we buy them at a fair price that fully takes into account their performance.”

The middle-aged man, who was called Treasurer-dono, bowed his head.

Then, His Majesty turns to me again.

“Daisy, your attitude and desire to improve yourself for the sake of improving the quality at your age is magnificent. Is there anything you want? Is there anything you want as a reward, apart from the cost?”

I was suddenly told to request something and I thought about what I wanted. Father seemed to be a little on edge as to what I would say.

“I only have the beginner-level alchemy books. If I were to receive a reward, I would be happy to receive a more advanced book.”

His Majesty nodded in satisfaction at my answer.

“It is no exaggeration to say that our country’s alchemy is lagging behind. However, it is excellent that there are alchemists that lay the golden egg. I will grant your wish. I am sure it will be beneficial to this country,” His Majesty said, then left the room with a satisfied smile on his face.

Afterward, the purchase that was made is as follow:
Three high potions per week, and ten vials each of the others. With the price being higher due to performance, the price was three times the price of ordinary products.
(Ordinary products → The price this time) [Currency unit].
Potion: One large copper coin → Three large copper coins [3,000 Liers].
High Potion: One large silver coin → Three large silver coins [300,000 Liers].
Mana Potion: Three large copper coins → Nine large copper coins [9,000 Liers].

At the age of five, I received one gold coin and two silver coins—1,020,000 Liers a week.

By the way, the currency unit and monetary value in my country are as follows:
1 Lier = One iron coin
10 iron coins = One small copper coin
10 small copper coins = One copper coin
10 copper coins = One large copper coin
10 large copper coins = One silver coin
10 silver coins = One large silver coin
10 large silver coins = One gold coin
10 gold coins = One large gold coin
10 large gold coins = One white gold coin
10 white gold coins = One large white gold coin

It was roughly five large copper coins for an overnight stay without meals at a medium-level inn, and a common government official, who is not a noble, earns roughly four gold coins annually. I was surprised to learn that this was quite a lot of money for a five-year-old child to earn.
Well, the reason for the high price was the high potion. If an arm that’s been cut off, you can attach it back together when you apply the high potion, so it’s sold at a high price.

        1. noble’s way of think is different from commener… and yes alchemy is a failure job in this country, the king said “low alchemy level” the introduction book not even explaining thoroughly of alchemy process (just insert material with this ratio), in result often failure and low quality products.

taking all of that without appraisal skill n genius brain, she will become a failure n no success in life.

          1. True. It seems regardless of the world you isekai into, and whatever skills you get. As long as you get Appraisal / Analyze, and have a good imagination / decent level of intelligence. You’re set for life.

That or you need to grow up in a village located near a final boss dungeon. So you can be spoiled rotten with end game mats, and god tier training (like harvesting Elder Treeants for lumber, or mining Mythril Dragon Golems.)

  1. Hm, I feel like if the author had done actual research on farming and chemistry, rather than just play some minigames, it would have given some needed verisimilitude.

In the first place, she promises a stable supply? Is this a tropical country where winter is not a thing?

And as someone who’s done beginning chemistry courses, I can confidently say that this is the baby stuff…

Oh well, it’s useless to blame the translator. Thanks for translating!
