Inside the forest, the monsters that sometimes come attacking are mostly defeated by the golem Tet.

When they come in groups, I fire magic from the rear, but even so, Tet defeats most of them, so my level has been rising more easily compared to up until now.

Furthermore, Tet takes in the monster’s magic gems and its abilities go up little by little, and a virtuous cycle of it becomes even easier has been created.

Also, the costs of operating the golem weren’t as high as I thought.

In order to keep the clay from drying, I would sometimes bask the golem with convenience store mineral water created with my creation magic, then Tet would take in the black soil near the tree roots, so the red-ish body in the beginning now has a slight trace of black on it.

The required magical power is replenished at certain intervals with my [Charge], so there’d be no shortage, and it stands guard at night without any sleep or rest so it helps.

Then, after continuing to wander throughout the forest, Tet and I found a mysterious cavern.

“Hey, Tet. What do you think that is?”

“Gon?”

The awkwardly-shaped clay golem tilted its head to the side while standing next to me.

“No matter how you look at this, this is a dungeon, right?”

The cave’s depth and internal volume/space are obviously strange.

Even though it is a cave inside a small mountain/hill, one can already see from the entrance that the cave is deep enough that it should penetrate the mountain (as it comes out at the other side).

And above all, the rock surfaces inside and outside the cave felt nothing like each other to the touch.

“Hmm. What should we do? Tet?”

“Gon!”

“I want to proceed forward,” is what Tet looks like it wants to say as it brandishes the sword held in one hand.

“Well, if Tet wants to go in the dungeon, then let’s go.”

As I said that, I created a paper, pen, compass for checking the direction, and light source necessary for capturing a dungeon. While I was mapping, the first group appeared as I progressed.

“Goblins…… and there’s three of them.”

However, the goblins that appeared was beaten to death in a flash by Tet’s sword.

“Ohh, Tet. You got stronger.”

“Gon!”

While Tet hoisted up its sword at the cavern’s ceiling happily, the defeated goblin became white smoke, disappeared, and left behind equipment and a magic gem at that spot.

“This is nice. It’s like a game. Tet, you can handle the magic gem like you usually do.”

“Gon!”

When I said that, Tet took in the defeated goblin’s magic gem, and proceeded deeper into the dungeon again, but—-

—-Gatan! Whoosh!

“Gon?”

“Ahh, Tet!”

Unlike walking on two legs, the clay golem Tet proceeds as if the lower half of its body was crawling on the ground. Tet treated on the ground’s extensive surface.

As a result of that, Tet would step on the operating trap switches, and the arrow fired from the wall pierced Tet’s head.

However, the golem in question–Tet–proceeded as if nothing happened.

“Tet, are you okay? Your head, your head!”

“Gon?”

—–Gatan, Jakiiin~!

This time, spears popped out and skewered Tet’s body.

“Tet–!”

“Gon!?”

Tet, who seemed to be surprised… noticed the arrow lodged into its head, pulled it out, and threw it away.

Wait, is Tet thickheaded? Tet, are you a stupid kid?

Then, when the trap returned back to how it was originally, I checked if Tet’s body was injured or not.

“Tet, you good? Are you hurt?”

“Gon♪”

Since it’s a clay golem, the damaged parts of its body were successfully repaired with dirt and water as if it was never damaged.

Also, since the core can move around the interior of the body, it can get away from attacks scratch-free.

In addition, when he stepped on a switch that triggers a trap to spray sleeping powder—-

“Gon–!”

“Ahh, wait… since Tet’s not a living creature, that sort of stuff doesn’t affect Tet.”

Tet was basically invincible against physically killing traps and traps meant for living creatures.
The results were that Tet completed the dungeon’s first layer unmatched.

  1. Tet’s weakness could be a pitfall trap thou. Unless it can slid up vertical walls. Or fire/ice trap to harden with swing log to smash into bits. Falling ceiling? Still need to damage the core thou…. Hmmmm. Magic drain traps? Explosive ones would too. And underwater level so the body can’t keep together, but the golem is clay so iffy. So many ideas, so many to choice from. (forgetting about the creation mage right behind it)

  2. I wonder if she could take the core and recreate his body with it if the body is destroyed… Actually, where are tet’s memories?
