The Teia Group is an emerging post-war conglomerate that grew out of the textile industry by dabbling in automobiles. Today, Teia Motors is one of the world’s top automakers.

As a conglomerate, it is an outgrowth of the large pre-war conglomerate, the Niki Group, but it has become one of the most profitable in the group.

Nowadays, due to the damage caused by the collapse of the bubble economy, there are rumors of reorganization within the group.

I believe that Teia Shuichi’s grandfather or great-grandfather got a wife from the Futagi family.
I heard that they are trying to take control of the group by teaming up with Shibaura Electronics, Ishihari Shipbuilding, and Fuso Film, who are not included in the favored Futagi Group.

There are also rumors that the so-called “big three”—Niki parent company, Niki Bank, and Niki Products—are competing with them, so I guess the reality is similar for all of them.

“Thank you for the invitation, Duke.”

“There’s no need for the formalities.”

For the Japanese nobility to survive in the post-war era, the nobility system was modified to include peerage upon marriage.

In this sense, the Keikain family is one of the most powerful of the noble families because of its business activities.

There were quite a few people who covet their blood, whether for prestige or for business purposes.

As I was thinking about this, Teia Shuichi looked at me.

Well, blonde hair like mine was rather rare among Japanese.

“It’s nice to meet you. I’m Runa Keikain.”

“Oh, what a charming young lady. I wonder if that uniform is from the same school as Eiichi’s.”

Of course, I know from the game setting that Eiichi-kun attended the same elementary school.

In addition, the school was located in a prestigious area of Tokyo and offered an integrated education from kindergarten to university, while at the same time admitting outstanding students from outside the school through entrance exams.

“Eiichi. I’m going to have a little talk with the Duke, so you and Runa go and have fun over there.”

“Oh my? Are you okay with me? There are a lot of rumors floating around me.”

Instantly, time froze.

It was similar to a scandal of the Keikain family, and it wouldn’t be strange to have it known by somebody of my level.

Even so, it must have been unexpected for the adults to hear myself personally saying it so openly.

“Runa. Where did you hear that from?” Uncle Kiyomaro said with a smile.

However, his eyes were most definitely not smiling, and his smile was filled with rage to whoever told such a thing to a child.

I gave him a child’s innocent smile in return.

I replied, glancing at the area where the branch families were, “Who knows? I’ve forgotten.”

That seemed to give Uncle and Onii-sama the clue they needed.

“I see. We’ll talk about this later. For now, go over there with Eiichi-kun.”

“Sure.”

I took Eiichi’s hand, who was not quite sure what was going on, and quickly went to the corner of the room.

When I let go of his hand, he finally spoke up.

“You’re… a weird person.”

“I’ll take that as a compliment. Well now, why don’t we leave the complicated stuff to the grown-ups and have a little adventure?”

As a result of his emperor education, Teia Eiichi in the game had become a great almighty ore-sama character. 1

Like I expected, he’s still not an ore-sama character at this time.

“Eh? Wait a… hey! Where are we going!?”

He followed me as I left the party venue.

Of course, he has a bodyguard, so I called the guard and whispered in his ear.

The escort wryly smiled and opened his mouth.

“If you call the waiter, I’ll have them bring it to you.”

“That’s no good. They won’t let him drink it because it’s bad for the body! Don’t you think that’s rude?”

“Wait a minute! What on earth are you trying to do?”

Eiichi is getting more and more worried about what the bodyguard is going to do.

A helping hand came soon.

“What’s wrong?”

“Haa. Runa-ojousama…”

I showed Nakamaro-oniisama, who was puzzled, a 500 yen coin from my pocket as if it were a treasure.

Then, I put my hand on my waist and said with a smug look on my face.

“Onii-sama. I want to buy juice from the vending machine from the first floor store!”

Once again, the three males were puzzled.

Nakamaro-oniisama asked on behalf of the three.

“Runa. If you ask, the bodyguard will buy a juice for you, or you can ask the waiter to bring it to you.”

“Geez, Onii-sama doesn’t get it!”

I give a very childish reason as I behaved in an adult-like manner.

Furthermore, in one of the Eiichi-kun’s vignettes in the game, he went shopping with the main character and had a hard time understanding how to pay.

I’m going to have minimal contact with Eiichi-kun, but I thought I’d at least show him some common sense.

However, I also just wanted to drink it too.

“There’s meaning in buying it from the vending machine myself. Runa is already in elementary school!”

I’m not sure if my soul is attracted to my body, but sometimes I really feel like a child.

It’s just that I know that being a pure child is happiness and that these times are precious.

Nakamaro-oniisma sighed and took my hand in his.

“It can’t be helped. I’ll go with you. You should come with me, Eiichi-kun. Sorry, but will you please listen to Runa’s selfishness?”

“Yes.”

Despite what you said, it’s plain as day from your face that you’re not happy, Eiichi-kun.

Nakamaro-oniisama took my hand and headed into the elevator.

Eiichi-kun and his bodyguard followed after, boarded the elevator, then the door closed.

“Eiichi-kun.”

“Yes.”

Nakamaro-oniisama began to talk to Eiichi-kun.

I pretended to enjoy the Shinjuku night view reflected outside the glass and listened in.

“Runa is like this. Even at home and at school, she feels slightly out of place. If you become her friend, it would be very helpful.”

“…I’ll think about it.”

Hey.

You’re supposed to answer “yes” there.

At least put up a front.

Of course, I didn’t say anything like that and we arrived at the first floor concession area.

The juice I was looking for was in the vending machine area, sitting on the top rack.

At this moment, I was roughly 120cm tall.

“I-CAN’T-REACH-IT!!! Kyah!”

Unable to just watch me jumping up and down with teary eyes, Nakamaro-oniisama carried me.

“Here you go. Which one?”

“This one! Grape juice!”

It’s not 100% juice, but 30% juice, and that’s why it’s sweet and delicious.

I was a commoner in my previous life, and I loved that taste.

Nakamaro-oniisama held me in his arms and I pressed the button for the grape juice I wanted.

“Yay!”

“Good job. Well then, let’s get the change next.” 2

“Ah! Onii-sama, wait a minute!”

I pressed the button three times.

Two coffees and a cola.

When I asked Onii-sama to lower my body, I gave the coffee to Nakamaro-oniisama and the bodyguard.

I handed over the cola to Eiichi-kun.

It was my way of thanking him for accompanying me. The reason I gave Eiichi cola was because I guessed that his family doesn’t let him drink cola.

“Thank you. Let’s drink together. Cheers!”

“““Cheers!”””

“Whoa! There’s bubbles coming out!”

“Just take a sip and give it a try!”

I laughed with satisfaction as Eiichi-kun was surprised by the vigorously bubbling cola and him being deeply impressed by the taste of carbonation.

He must have liked the taste, because I began to see Eiichi-kun drinking cola every now and then. 3

  1. Cloud: An ore-sama character is basically a really arrogant character, typically rich with a lot of power (whether economical, social, political, etc.). Usually not viewed positively unless they have a weird fandom behind the character.
  2. Cloud: Some vending machines (not all) in Japan allow you to buy multiple items and don’t immediately spit out change.
  3. Slothmaster (Arocks): Eiichi has good taste. Keep it up, young one.

  1. Greetings. I have something to report.
First of all, thanks for your hard work.
    Second of all:+

    [
“It’s nice to meet you. I’m Runa Keikain.”
    ]

In this sentence, Runa gives her name before her family name, which is the first time she has (I’ve checked and it’s indeed the first time). So I guess this is a mistake.

    1. Also, and this one is very important.

      [
      Instantly, time froze.
      ]

This sentence lacks a translator’s note with a Jojo reference.

Completely unreadable. Impossible to enjoy reading.
That’s it. I’m done. I’m leaving this thing and never coming back.

      /s

  2. 100% sure eiichi will like her too much, the female lead that is suppose to be the mc would rely on her and call her onee sama, the rest would like her and she would deny it then call them disgusting making them extremely sad and her being confused as heck, but I expect a twist that it wouldnt
