Hello and welcome to all of the nurds currently reading this. Guess who? It’s your lovely lazy-ass DC, coming to bring you a new story which I was presented by one of my fellow translators, Flowingcloud. I really enjoyed the premise, and even though it went against my standards as far as being an isekai novel, I found myself really liking how it began. I was going to post chapter two along with these two chapters, however, I’ve been too lazy/unmotivated/caught up in my job(that’s right, I got a job) to finish it. Note that I had like 2-4 pages left.
Also, to the readers of Laika, don’t worry, I haven’t completely gone and forgot about it, I just needed a break after the last time I worked on it, and decided to rotate projects.
P.S. I’ll eventually add a Table of Contents and the story’s summary and all that jazz later. I’m too lazy now, plus I’ve got things like school coming up. Also, I was going to add footnotes to Chapter 1, but it’s too long since I’ve made them, and I don’t feel like messing with them and their likelihood of working atm. Maybe I’ll add them in the future.
Without further ado, here are the first two chapters of this rather interesting story:

I don’t know where else to report this. I keep getting intrusive redirect ads on the site today. Even with the browser’s “block redirect ads” turned on. Only reason I could write this is that I turned on my phone’s VPN app.
I never got redirect ads from this site before.
I have to apologize. Some of the staff are tinkering with ads on the website, and thus far have been somewhat unsuccessful in working out the kinks. No doubt though that the problem is attempting to be fixed.
