So, I’ve tried Humankind. The combat/war system is great. But the infrastructure building side is left to be desired.
So, I’ve tried Humankind. The combat/war system is great. But the infrastructure building side is left to be desired.
I’m liking Humankind. I completely agree on combat/war being great. The foundation is solid in my opinion, but some things need adjusting. I just finished a game on the Endless pace setting (fame tallied at 600 turns). I got top in fame but my tech was pretty low. I was focusing on money and industry mostly and I don’t think I totally neglected science, but at turn 600 my best land unit was just at Musketeers and Ironclads for my navy. I was thinking that the endgame either needed more turns (maybe adjust Endless to be 650 or 700 turns) or maybe lower research costs a bit for industrial era and later techs.
But yeah, fun game overall.
