Dress, check.

Smile, check.

Mental, check.

I slapped my cheeks lightly and left the restroom.

I was wearing my elementary school uniform that I just enrolled in.

It’s formal wear after all.

“The daughter of the Keikain Duke Family, Kekain Runa-sama is entering.”

As I entered through the opened door, I was met with applause and indescribable gazes.

If I listened carefully, I could hear voices like:

“Runa-sama, huh. I heard she was given the Keikain name because there were no other girls in the main branch.”

“The Far East Group’s circumstances are a bit… It’s quite hard to welcome her.”

“And you know what? That Far East Group is supporting her.”

“Why? She might be the rightful successor because of who her father is, but the Far East Group itself needs to reduce its non-performing credit, does it not?”

“It seems her butler is quite capable. Apparently, her butler was very good at his job and succeeded in merging the Far East Bank and Hokkaido Takushoku Bank.”

“Ah, that unexpected comeback of a merger. Thanks to that, the Far East Bank was renamed to the Keika Bank. And the result of Sankai Securities and Ichiyama Securities’ similar comeback merger became Keika Securities, right? That and the Bank of Japan’s special loan saved it from going under.”

“And while they were at it, they also disposed of their bad loans. A job well done, I’d say.”

“I heard that Far East Land Development applied under the Corporate Reorganization Law, and Far East Hotels revamped its management team and sent all of its non-performing properties to asset management companies. The resorts held by the Hokkaido Takushoku Bank that could be used will be managed and operated by the Keika Hotels, not the Far East Hotels. This party was the unveiling of the new Keika Bank and Keika Hotels, which will become the core of the group. The Far East Group will put a lot of effort into this, and I’m sure they’ll bring out the best in Runa-sama.”

“This isn’t amusing for the others in the main family line.”

I can hear you clearly.

I don’t think this is a good conversation to have with an innocent elementary school kid, but I guess they think I don’t understand them.

Because of the debauchery of my grandfather, Keikain Hikomaro, the Keikain family has about seven families, excluding the main family and my father, that are recognized as having his blood.

In such a situation, dividing the property would have resulted in the dissolution of the conglomerate or a family riot, so like many conglomerates, he created a property management company and received the money in the form of dividends from it.

One of the reasons why I feel out of place is that I don’t receive any money from that property management company.

So, I don’t need to tell anyone where my money comes from.

It came from the Far East Bank, or rather, the Moonlight Fund.

“So that’s the young miss who created the Keika Bank.”

“Ah. It’s Kekain Runa-sama. It seems that it is the butler and the executive officer of the former Far East Bank who are in charge, but the owner is the young miss.”

“No matter how much of an emergency it was, it’s amazing that they managed to create a huge financial conglomerate that includes regional banks, several lower-tier city banks, major and semi-major securities companies, and even small life and non-life insurance companies.”

“The Ministry of Finance is planning to use them to lift the ban on holding companies on a trial basis.”

“Keika Financial Holdings, huh? In reality, it’s a colony of the Ministry of Finance.”

“That’s why everyone wants a part of this. It’s one of the reasons we’re here.”

Many people related to the Iwazaki Conglomerate were present at the table where these conversations were taking place, as the late wife of the current head of the company was related to the Iwazaki Conglomerate.

With the Financial Big Bang looming, which calls for the disposal of bad loans and a major transformation of financial administration, Keika Financial Holdings must look like a very tasty catch.

I’m sure I’m the perfect target for them.

Thinking about this, I greeted the host of the party in a lady-like manner.

“It’s been a long time. Uncle Kiyomaro.

“Congratulations on your enrollment. Runa. You’ve become a splendid young lady.”

The head of the Keikain family. He is the Duke Kiyomaro.

At first glance, he appears to be a mild-mannered gentleman in his fifties.

He’s wearing a suit made by a first-class tailor and holds a glass of Macallan in his hand.

However, such a mild-mannered gentleman has led the Keika Group, including Keika Pharmaceutical, which has sales of over 100 billion yen.

There’s no way he doesn’t have an ulterior motive.

“I heard that you showed up at Ichijo-san’s place at the Keika Bank the other day and asked him all sorts of unreasonable questions.”

“Sorry, Uncle. I really wanted to drink grape juice. Tachibana and Ichijo-san are always talking about difficult things.”

Publicly, the one that’s working is my butler, Tachibana.

The explanation is that I am just a motive for Tachibana to move.

I wonder what he will think when he finds out what really happened.

“Hahaha. That must have been boring. I’d like him to work on a bigger stage, though.”

A smile crept across my face, but underneath my clothes, I was covered in a cold sweat.
Well, after all his accomplishments, I’m sure he’d like Tachibana to be put to better use.

“Uncle. I don’t want that. Tachibana is my butler, you know!”

I pretended to be a child who didn’t want her toys taken away to protect Tachibana.

I don’t think it will reverse the decision, but I’m sure they will give it some consideration.

“I get it, Runa. I don’t intend to ask your butler to quit, but I heard that he values Ichijo-kun highly. I’m going to prepare a seat for him in the appropriate place in the Keika Bank. Of course, I’ll get more assistants for Runa in return.”

What should I think of this?

After all, I am only a piece useful for a political marriage in the eyes of the main family.

In order to get rid of the people who would flock to me for my assets beyond my position, they would send people from the main family, and also send purely useful people to the center of the conglomerate.

In any case, the Keika Group, which is small in scale for a conglomerate, does not have many people.

However, as an elementary school student, I had no choice but to answer in this way.

“Geez. Please don’t make Tachibana work too much. Also, I demand delicious sweets!”

“Very well. Ojou-sama.”

The one who presented me with a plate of sweets while I was pretending to be angry was Keikain Nakamaro-oniisama.

He is the only son of Uncle Kiyomaro, graduated from university this spring, and is working at Keika Pharmaceutical.

He is a handsome young man with a gentle smile on his face, and his intelligent glasses accentuate his smile.

He has black hair so lustrous that it stands out against my blond hair, and today he is wearing a brown suit.

He is the man I adored as my Onii-sama in the game, but at the time of my demise, he has subtly disappeared.

As I have learned more about the inner workings of the Keika Group, I am now wondering if my demise in the game was a purge of the Far East faction.

“Delicious♪ These sweets are amazing.”

“These are called waffles, Runa. Now that we’ve greeted each other, shall we eat here?”

“Yes, Onii-sama.”

I know.

Or rather, I was the one who brought this sweet from Belgium.

It is supposed to be the highlight of this Keika Hotel, but I’ll just be a kid and get lured in by the waffles with a big smile on my face.

Thus, I was taken to the side by Nakamaro-oniichan, and the next guest was about to enter.

“The general manager of the Teia Conglomerate, Teia Shuichi-sama, and his son, Teia Eiichi-sama, are here.”

I see.

So this is where I meet him.

It’s ‘Keikain’ and not ‘Kekain’, right?

      1. Here another one.

Runa has been calling him ‘Onii-sama’, but here she suddenly says ‘Oniichan’. I guess this is a mistake?
