Amago no Miko Chapter 2

Flowingcloud: Shoutout to Gino for becoming my Patreon for Amago no Miko despite there only being one chapter out! Anyway, this chapter is kind of resident sleeper. The current chapter I’m translating (chapter 8) is like 3 times this chapter’s length lol. The author can’t keep his chapters consistent. What I’m getting at is this chapter is short lmao. See you next week.

Schedule: 1 chapter per week. Wednesdays.

Chapter 2

You can read five chapters ahead on Patreon! Thank you to my Patreon member Gino!

God of Cooking Chapter 265

Flowingcloud: One-off translation from a temporary translator. The next chapter will be the start of our current translator. Also, I will start doing Patreon shoutouts again.

This chapter is sponsored by Crystalblaze, Invalidlinks, Tim, Timmy, and the rest of the God of Cooking Patreon sponsors!

Schedule: 1 chapter per week. Mondays. Sometimes bonus chapters.

Chapter 265

Amago no Miko Chapter 1

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE READING THE FIRST CHAPTER!

Flowingcloud: If you listened, thank you. I would like to explain the background and translation decision-making before you dive into this series. First, this novel is obviously placed in the Sengoku period and the author goes very in-depth at various times. Unlike other Sengoku period novels, the author has clearly done their research and uses many terms of that time. Thus, many people are not referred to xxx-san or yyy-kun, but xxx-[their title] or their title itself, like how sometimes people use ‘sensei’ as a proper noun. I have decided to keep the Japanese term in the romanized form to keep the feeling the author wanted to convey. At the start of every chapter, I will have a [Terms/Things to Note] section so that you have a  general idea of what their title/post/position means. Do not worry if it is unconfusing because not even every Japanese person would remember these things. If you are ever confused about a term, please refer to the glossary section. I have footnoted many important concepts, so please do not ignore the footnotes if you are completely confused.  Finally, the use of the term ‘miko’.  I have decided to use that instead of ‘shrine maiden’ due to the difference of meaning in Sengoku period. In this novel, the main character being a miko is quite an important point to note. Thank you for taking the time to read this blurb before reading.

Personally, I love this novel and it takes me hours to translate one chapter due to constantly researching, so I do hope you enjoy this story.

Schedule: 1 chapter per week. Wednesdays.

God of Cooking Chapter 264

Flowingcloud: This is the final chapter we receive from Ensj and we will be then swapping over to a new translator. It has been one and a half years since Ensj has translated for GoC for us and I would like to thank him for all the hard work he has done. Thank you. Meanwhile, please enjoy the start of a stable schedule again.

Schedule: 1 chapter per week. Mondays.

Chapter 264 Edit: Fixed link, sorry.

Failure Alchemist Chapter 0

Flowingcloud: New novel, what else can I say? I actually quite like this novel so I’m translating it. The current chapter really does not do the novel any justice right now. I’m planning to release roughly a chapter a week, but that honestly depends on when my editor will be free again. As for people who were waiting for Loli Witch, I’m planning on translating it sooner or later. Not dropped yet.

Chapter 0

Check out my Patreon while you’re at it.

God of Cooking Chapter 263

Flowingcloud: BACK IN ACTION BABY! It’s been a rough time during the whole translator business, but I finally found a new translator who will be starting off in a few chapters! Meanwhile, this is a chapter that Ensj has translated. Also, I can finally confidently say that there will be a schedule again! Currently, we will start off with 1 chapter a week, but if we get enough people on Patreon, I can up this to two, or even more in the future. Look forward to the next chapter next week!

Schedule: 1 chapter per week. Mondays.
